Meeting people where they are.

A person suffering from SUD is fighting of their lives. It’s hard enough being addicted. Judgment only makes the problem worse. Whether a person is actively using or coming out of treatment, they need support. Sage’s Army is there. Before, during, and after. We lived it, too. We get it and we know the fight will be lifelong. Being the bridge along the journey increases the chances of recovery longevity.

It’s Not Who You Think.

Overdoses can happen anywhere and to anyone. It doesn’t discriminate. Unfortunately, people sometimes do.

It can be someone whose drink was spiked. A child who accidentally picked up a pill. A senior who mistakenly took their medication twice. A teen who made a bad decision. An employee suffering from substance use.

Stigma is dangerous. Compassion saves lives.

Sage’s Army believes in and practices harm reduction.

Narcan

Through the generosity of the Westmoreland Drug and Alcohol Commission, we are able to provide FREE Narcan kits and testing strips. Every house, fire department, first responder – everyone should carry Narcan.

Vivitrol

Through a partnership with Positive Recovery Solutions (PRS), individuals residing in Westmoreland County can receive their injection at our Greensburg Recovery Center. Vivitrol is a monthly injection used to treat alcohol dependence and prevent a recurrence of opioid use. This service does require insurance.
