Sage’s Army gave me my life back. I no longer live in the “what ifs” . I don’t feel guilty anymore, I know that I did my best, even though it may not have been perfect. I’m not alone. There are people out there who understand what I’m going through. I have found things in my life that make me happy and I don’t feel bad pursuing them. Self care! I still don’t understand the drug use but I understand how the disease works now. I realize that it’s not my place to fix it, I will just help my child with love and support for their recovery.
