Education and Advocacy

Action.

At Sage’s Army, advocacy and education are at the heart of our mission. We advocate for individuals and families affected by substance use disorder by promoting recovery-friendly communities, reducing stigma, and ensuring that every person is treated with dignity and respect. We work alongside community partners, healthcare providers, schools, employers, first responders, and policymakers to improve access to resources and strengthen recovery support systems. Through educational presentations, overdose prevention and naloxone training, workplace education, community outreach, and public awareness campaigns, we provide accurate, evidence-based information about substance use, recovery, harm reduction, and mental wellness. By educating the community and advocating for compassionate, person-centered approaches, we help create safer, more informed communities where recovery is understood, supported, and celebrated.

Our presentations have been praised by government officials, legislators, school administrators, non-profit leaders, and business owners from across Pennsylvania. We speak to the truth of the drug epidemic and its effects. However, we also work to inspire hope and community mobilizers simultaneously. If you would like to bring Sage’s Army to speak at your school, organization, or business, please contact us. One of our team members will reach out to you to confirm availability and to discuss the presentation.
